Here is another small residential project in Feasterville, Bucks County. This project consisted of removing the old deteriorating landscape timber retaining wall. The old tie wall was replaced using Cst Mosaic Wall Stone and standard wall caps. Several Kichler low voltage ledge lights were installed under the Cst wall caps. The low voltage lights were not only very functional they did a great job of showing off the retaining wall, steps, and bluestone landing.
Also involved was grinding down the existing concrete steps and landing area. This was critical to properly install the bluestone treads in order to achieve the correct rise while walking up the steps. The Pennsylvania Bluestone was wet laid and the joints were pointed with mortar.
